8,000 sq. feet of Lake facing land in one and a half acre, for conducting marriage or any functions related to marriage in Kumarakom, Kerala. 18 Lake side AC Rooms, Open Hall with the capacity of 100 People, Restaurant, Dining Hall and Lakeside facilities for eating out are other attractions.

Tariff For Up to 50 persons for 2nights and 3 days Rs 1,01,700/-

If you take all of our 18 Rooms for up to 50 persons our tariff for a day will be Rs 45,000 + 13% GST & Kerala Govt Flood Cess. Rs 1,01,700/- for 2 nights and 3 days. Check In from 2 PM and Check out before 12 Noon, on the third day.

Food & Beverages for 2days Rs 80,000 / Rs1,20,000/-

Yes we do have a fairly good restaurant, which can provide food and soft drinks either on the bank of Lake Vembanad or at our dining hall with 40 persons seating capacity. Cost for vegetarian breakfast lunch and dinner will be 800 per person and Non-Vegetarian breakfast lunch and dinner will be 1200 per person (one time, one non vegetarian dish) will cost Rs800 per person.

Function At The Bank of Lake Vembanad

We have free area of around 175 feet length and 55 feet breadth (10,000 Sq. feet) on the Lake Side by facing the beautiful Lake Vembanad. Which is in front of all the above said 12 Cottages. If there is no rain the above place, under the trees in natural settings is marvelous for your function.

8 Lake-facing Cottages with 12 AC bedrooms

The Cottages are facing and on the side of the beautiful, longest and largest backwater, “Lake Vembanad” in India. It is only 10 meters away from the Vembanad Lake with the unique sceneries and activities within it. Cottages are located at the best backwater locations in Kerala. “Relax In Nature’s Luxury” during all seasons including the rainy season, from the porch of the Cottages. Experience Sunset, Moonset and during the rainy season, rain coming from faraway and the maximum breadth and length of beautiful Lake Vembanad is a unique scenery from Cottages. There is no sound or air pollution. Gentle breeze with enhanced oxygen content and purity of air will rejuvenate, tensions and strains will be relieved.

Facilities of bedrooms of the Cottages

This Cottages have bedrooms, with basic comforts and moderately furnished to suit your basic needs. Main bedroom is facing the Lake Vembanad and only 10 meters away from the Lake. Second bedroom is not facing the lake and it is around 20 meters away from the Lake. Each bedroom has an air conditioner, fan, attached bathroom with European closet, shower, hot and cold water, Cable TV and WIFI. Main bedroom facing the lake has Electric Kettle and Steamer. Bedrooms have separate entrances and are also interconnected through middle door which can also be locked from both sides.

Therefore, it is a safe cottage, if the guests are coming with their children or old aged people. The area of the bedroom will be 175 and 135 Sq. Feet. Each bed room will have a Queen size bed or 2 single coats and an office table with 2 chairs. Area of bathroom will be around 40 or 50 Sq Feet each.

Sit Out / Porch of bedrooms of Cottages

Each bedroom has a sit out to experience Lake Vembanad. Main bedroom’s Sit out with an area of 100 Sq. feet, will have a fan, 4 easy chairs and a teapoy, facing the Lake Vembanad, which is only just 10 meters away from the lake. The second bedroom’s Sit out is with an area of 50 Sq. feet, will have 2 easy chairs and a teapoy, facing the Lake Vembanad with partial view, which is 20 meters away. WIFI signals are strong from the main bedroom’s Sit out. The Sit out and part of the premises are covered on the top, for giving you more comfort, especially during the rainy season and for having your meals under the shade. The total area covered by the sunshade will be around 350 Sq. Feet. Drifting of Houseboats, Shikara, Motorboats, Fishermen’s Boats, and Speedboats, and unique fishing of Pearl Spot Fish (Karimeen) can be experienced from the Porch of Cottage.

Premises in front of Cottage

Clean and tidy Premises right in front of the cottage, up to Lake Vembanad, which is only 10 meters from the porch of the cottage. Lawn with buffalo grass and concrete Path is there, up to the edge of the granite boundary wall, between water and the lawn. The free area of the premises in front of the Cottage will be around 750 Sq. Feet. You can have your daily walking and exercise in your own premises, just in front of the cottage.

6 AC Basic Rooms

There are 6 Rooms in this category. The Rooms are in two separate buildings and is located 75 to 90 meters away from the beautiful, longest and largest backwater, “Lake Vembanad” in India. You can walk up to the bank of lake Vembanad and experience the unique sceneries and activities within it, by taking care of the peace and privacy of the guests who are staying at the lakeside cottages.

Facilities of Bedroom

Bedroom have basic comforts and moderately furnished to suit your basic needs, with fan, attached bathroom with European closet, shower, hot and cold water and Cable TV. The area of the bedroom will be 100 Sq. Feet and will have a Queen size bed or 2 single coats with office table and 2 chairs. Area of bathroom will be around 50 Sq Feet. WIFI facility is available in front of the Reception and on the Lakeside.

Sit out of Room

This Room have a small sit out with two chairs and a teapoy for experiencing the nature. The area of the Sit out will be around 25 to 100 Sq. Feet, with 2 chairs and a teapoy, facing the Walkers Path, Shuttle/Basketball Court or Parking Area or on the side of Organic Farm.

Restaurant & Unique Dining Experience By Lakeside

We welcome our inhouse guests,who are staying at the Lake Facing Cottages (From Cottage No 105 To 111) to experience the unique dining experience by the Lakeside,strictly on the basis of prior confirmation by us. Usually we serve food and soft drinks only at the Dining Hall to all the guests for the purpose of convenience and easy management. You can occupy in front of the pre-booked space at the lakefront infront of your cottages. We serve Kerala Veg Meals, Fish Curry Meals, Tapioca, Chapti, Karimeen Fry, Karimeen Pollichathu, Shrimps, Lobster, Crab, Chicken Biryani,Beef Biryani, Barbecued Chicken, Tandoori Chicken Etc on the basis of prior order and confirmation. We have enough space at the Lake Side; therefore, you can always maintain Safe Social Distancing and also at the time of parking your vehicles.

Health Related Activities

Walkers Path for Walking and Exercise, Basketball Court, Shuttle Court, Table Tennis & Caroms & Facilities for Fishing, Such as Fishing Rods, Fishing Net, Visiting of Organic Farm,Entire Property Visit through the Walkers Path etc.

Organic Farm

We have an Organic Farm where we have lots of Fruit Trees, such as Papaya, Vertical Farming of Passion Fruits, Spices, Medicinal Plants, Tubers, Trees and Ayurvedic Plants.We have tapioca, papaya etc throughout the year, irrespective of rainy season.We have minimum two dishes on everyday, which is being prepared from the products, from the organic farm. Our farm is around 3 feet above the ground level, we made the farm by constructing a small wall around the farm and filled it with red sand, 8 years back. Therefore we have a live farm always, even it was alive during the time of the great Kerala flood of 2018.

Backwater Cruising

We arrange Cruising in Houseboat, Motorboats, Shikara or in a Speed boat, you can have it from this property itself. you will get the speed boat for hourly rate and all other types of boat will be available for minimum 2 hours.

Power and Solar Power

We have a 100 KVA Transformer in our property for meeting our power requirements. We also have a 40 KVA Diesel Cummins Generator for the backup. We have 5 KV Solar Panel (TATA) as further back up for running the fans and lights and 6 Solar Powered Water Heaters (V Guard) with back up, which gives hot water to all the guests.

Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

We are operating thoroughly as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) before the check in of the guests, during the check in, after the check-in and after the checkout of the guests. Cottages are very good for keeping Social Distance with other guests as it has its own designated area of premises up to the Lake Vembanad. You can have your morning walk or exercise, by taking care of other guests just in front of Cottage. Therefore, during the time of COVID 19 Pandemic, these types of Cottages are very safe to stay and have food and beverages.
