About This Cottage
We have  total 4 Lakefacing Family Cottages of this type  in 2 adjacent buildings. There are 2 Separate Cottages side by side in each building. The photos shown in the website is of 2 Lakefacing Family Cottages in a building. Therefore when you book a Lakefacing Family Cottage, we may allot any one of the four Cottages in 2 Buildings.

 Location
Cottages are facing the beautiful and largest backwater, “Lake Vembanad” in Kumarakom Village, Kerala State.  “Relax In Nature’s Luxury” during all seasons including the rainy season. Experience Sunset, during the rainy season, rain coming from the faraway, and the maximum breadth and length of beautiful Lake Vembanad is a unique scenery from Cottages. There is no sound or air pollution. A gentle breeze with enhanced oxygen content and purity of air will rejuvenate, tensions and strains will be relieved by staying at this cottage.

Bedrooms
This Cottage has two interconnected, but independent AC bedrooms, with basic comforts and moderately furnished to suit basic requirements. The main bedroom is a larger one with 175 Sq. Feet, facing Lake Vembanad. The second bedroom is smaller with 135 Sq. Feet and not facing the lake. Each bedroom has 2 Single Coats, Cupboard, air conditioner, fan, attached bathroom with hot and cold water, shower, Western Toilet, and  Cable TV.  Bedrooms have separate entrances and are also interconnected through the middle door which can also be locked from both sides. This is a better cottage for the guests who are coming with their children and old people.

 Sit Out / Porch
The Sit out and part of the premises are covered on the top, for giving more comfort, especially during the rainy season. The main bedroom has a larger sit-out facing directly Lake Vembanad, the area of this sit-out is 100 Sq. Feet, It has 4 easy chairs, a Coffee Table, and a fan. The second bedroom’s sit-out is only 50 Sq. Feet, and from there a partial view of the lake is visible. It has two easy chairs and a coffee table.

 Premises
There will be a dining table just in front of the cottage, food, and beverages will be served there. Clean and tidy Premises for around 500 Sq. feet, right in front of the cottage, up to Lake Vembanad. Lawn with buffalo grass and a concrete Path up to the edge of the Lake. You can have daily walking and exercise, just in front of your cottage in a very comfortable atmosphere.

Tariff, GST & Other Charges
The above Tariff includes GST only, therefore, bottled water, breakfast, and all other services are separately chargeable, as per the Menu Card.

Check-In & Check Out
Check-in time starts from 1 pm in the afternoon and Check-Out time is before 11 Am in the morning, on the next/last day. Maximum hours of stay for one day will be up to 22 hours only. If You Check In Early, Then Your Check Out Should Be Early, that is before 22 hours.

Order Your Food “Well In Advance” as per Our Menu card, through the WhatsApp Group, to be served in time.

Healthy, Safe, And Fresh Food
a) We use vegetables from our organic farm.
b) We prepare the food (A To Z) only after the order.
c)We never use Ajinomoto, or any kind of tastemakers, chemicals, color, used oil, etc. for cooking.
d)We make the ingredients/masala for cooking under our supervision, such as chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, coconut oil, etc.

No Service After 9.30 Pm in the Night, Except for Emergency Services.
Therefore, you may take care of enough water, an extra bed if required, your medicines, necessary things from your car at the parking area, etc., before 9.30 Pm, for your peaceful stay at night.

Other Facilities
a) WIFI facility is available, from the Veranda of the Rooms
b) Wheelchair accessibility to reach the cottages and throughout the property in one and a half acres of land.
c) Facilities for cloth drying String, please ask our staff to find out about this facility, please don’t put your clothes on Chairs and other furniture or in front of the Rooms to get it dried.

d) The maximum breadth and length of Lake Vembanad is visible from the Cottages.

Activities
a) Facilities of Basketball Court, Shuttle Court, and Table Tennis.
b) Fishing is also possible (Please bring your fishing rod & bait) but the fish that you may catch, should be released back to the Lake to create awareness for preserving nature.
c)  Use walkers’ paths around the organic farm on the property for walking, jogging, exercising, and to experience the whole property.
d)  Each Cottage and room has a porch to do Yoga and to experience nature. We provide facilities, on request, in the open hall and on the banks of Lake Vembanad for yoga practice.
e) Experience the Organic farms, Vegetation, and fruit trees.

Swimming in the Lake
Can Swim in the lake, from the Bathing Ghat, if you know how to swim, by taking all safety precautions and at Your Own Risk.

Cruising in Shikara Houseboat & Speed Boat
