Here Are Our Mandatory Rules, Regulations, Procedures, Facilities, Activities, Limitations, and house Rules for This Property so that you, other guests, staff, and neighbors can have a relaxed and comfortable stay.
Published Tariff
The tariff displayed on this website is subject to modification without prior notification. Therefore, before reserving your Cottages, Villas, or Rooms, we encourage you to request the current tariff through email or WhatsApp, to ensure accuracy and confirm your booking. Advance booking based on the agreed tariff at the time of the booking is a confirmed booking and cannot be amended or modified, even if there is any difference in tariff at the website. We may change the Tariff in the website, based on the holidays,weekends,weekdays,peakseason and also for generating more bookings.
Please Refrain From Bringing Outside Food Onto The Premises.
Maintenance Charge of Rs200 Per Room, Per Day
We kindly request that guests refrain from bringing outside food onto the premises. To support the maintenance of our property and ensure the well-being of our staff, extra cleaning, and responsible disposal of plastic containers, we have implemented a maintenance charge of Rs200 per room per day. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated, and we thank you for understanding.
Procedures Related to Check In
As part of our standard Guest Registration procedure, we kindly request that you furnish your address, contact details, and other requisite information.Furthermore, we require the presentation of a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of address for office verification and documentation. Foreign nationals must provide their valid passport with an active visa for verification and further processing.
Before Your Arrival
To facilitate a seamless check-in process, we kindly request that all members of your party, including children, provide copies of valid and original government-approved photo identification cards with address proof. These documents can be submitted via WhatsApp or email. Accepted forms of identification include the original Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Voters Card, and Passport.
Pre – Arrival Call or Messaging makes, it a more effective option, for smooth check-in, so that we can make your rooms/cottages ready, for your check-in.

Check-In Time, from 1 P.m. & Check-Out Time, before 11 Am on the next day.
If You Require, Early Check-In Or Late Check Out
Please contact us, we can offer, as per our availability and our procedures.
If You Check In Early, Then Check Out Should Be Early. If we have availability, we allow early check-in, then the check-out should be early, that is before 22 hours. If you check out after 22 hours then you will have to pay late checkout charges, you should contact our Manager for confirmation of the late checkout charges in advance.
Generally, We Don’t Allow Pets, In Our Property.
Pets are generally not permitted on our premises due to the necessity for additional cleaning arising from their presence. Consequently, a minimum fee of Rs1000 per day per pet is applicable to accommodate the supplementary cleaning requirements associated with pets residing in or outside of guest rooms. It is imperative that pet owners ensure their animals remain within their control and confined to their respective rooms, so as not to disrupt other guests or compromise their peace of mind.
What’s App Communication Group
We’ve set up a WhatsApp group that includes the guest numbers, service staff numbers, and our manager’s numbers. This is so we can easily share information about the property and stay connected with you for any services you may need. Feel free to use this group to let us know your requirements, communicate with us, and even pre-order your food and beverages.
Car Parking
Free private parking is available on site at the owner’s risk. No reservation is needed.
Handling of Your Luggage
We regret to inform you that our establishment does not offer a luggage handling service. However, we are pleased to provide trolleys upon request. Additionally, we are committed to assisting elderly, pregnant, and differently-abled individuals with their luggage as needed.
Visitors Are Restricted
This property is reserved exclusively for individuals who have made advance bookings and completed the registration process in accordance with our office records. Our adherence to this policy is aimed at safeguarding the tranquil holiday experience of our esteemed guests. Consequently, access to the areas designated for guests is strictly limited to registered individuals, and we regret that visitors will not be permitted in these areas.
Current Tariff Plan: – European Plan
The current tariff plan is the European Plan, which includes room charges and GST only. Additional charges such as breakfast, other meals, bottled water, soft drinks, and all other services will be billed separately. You will be expressly notified through WhatsApp or Email at the time of booking confirmation regarding the inclusion of breakfast, other meals, and services.
Extra Person’s Charge
Each room is designed for a maximum occupancy of 2 individuals due to the limited size of the accommodations. In instances where the number of occupants exceeds 2, an additional charge per person is applicable as outlined below: – Lake facing Cottages, Lake facing Family Cottages, and Lake facing Villa: Rs 1064 per person – Family Villa & Non-Lakeside Standard Rooms: Rs 840 per person It is important to note that the aforementioned charges are inclusive of GST and apply on a per person basis.
Child Policy
The hotel’s child policy stipulates that up to two children under the age of 5 may accompany their parents at no additional cost, provided that they do not necessitate supplementary amenities or services. Children aged 5 and above will be regarded as extra occupants. Upon request by our front office, it is necessary to furnish the age certificate of the children.
Liability of the Guests
Guests are accountable for compensating the establishment for any losses, damages, or breakages of assets incurred during their stay. Additionally, guests are kindly asked to cover the costs associated with clearing any leftover items, as determined by the property manager.
Place The Dinner Orders Before 6 PM, As There Is No Service After 9.30 P.M. In The Night.
Dinner orders should be placed before 6 PM to ensure timely service. Any requests for food beyond this time cannot be accommodated. Consequently, no services will be available after 9:30 PM. For a peaceful stay, please remember to order any necessary items such as extra water or a spare bed before 9:30 PM. If you need to access your car for any items such as medications or personal belongings, please do so before 9:30 PM, as the entrance to the office and parking area will be closed for security reasons from 9:30 PM to 6 AM. WIFI
We offer complimentary WIFI access to our guests, which is accessible from the porch or sit-out areas of our Cottages, Villas, and Rooms. The anticipated average speed is approximately 50 Mbps; however, intermittent connectivity issues may arise. We recommend that guests make contingency WIFI arrangements, such as Jio/Idea or BSNL 4G Sim/Connections, to ensure uninterrupted connectivity.
TV Channels
We typically provide access to free channels. However, if you have a need to include one to three paid channels, we kindly request that you notify us by 5 PM in the evening.
Eating In The Room
Please refrain from consuming snacks, chips, biscuits, or any other food items within the designated room. Doing so may attract ants and insects, potentially disrupting your sleep. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Quiet Time:
The designated quiet hours for this property are from 9:30 PM to 7:00 AM. We kindly request that all outdoor activities and noise be minimized during this time to ensure a tranquil environment for all guests. Your cooperation in observing these quiet hours is greatly appreciated.
Switch Off Lights & Keep Your Door Closed
You can enjoy the night without the nuisance of insects if you switch off your lights in your Sit out when you are relaxing there, moreover please don’t open your doors and windows, so that mosquitoes and insects will not enter your room.
You May Use Only Your Premises:
You may please occupy only the Premises just in front of your Cottage or Room.
Consumption of Alcohol
We don’t allow the consumption of Alcohol in open and public areas on our Property.
Smoking
Please don’t smoke in the bedrooms, open and public places.
DJ Parties, Drinks Parties, Loud Music, Crackers and Fireworks, and any other activities that create Sound Pollution and air Pollution and disturb other guests, our staff, and the neighbors are not allowed. Our Staff in charge will certainly inform the Police, as soon as they know that, there is any consumption of drugs, or any prohibited items are taking place by the Group or any members of the Group.
Dry Your Clothes
We provide a separate and private place for your clothes to get dried under the Sun.
Don’t Put Your Clothes on Chairs and other Furniture to get it dried under the sun.
Recreations
Fishing
You may bring a fishing rod and bait if you would like to do angling in the Lake just for fun, but after catching the fish you may release it back to the Lake, as we will not be able to do any service in connection with the above.
Basketball, Shuttle Court & Table Tennis
We provide the above facilities for your fun and entertainment. but after your game, you should bring back all the items that you had taken for your entertainment without damaging them.
Walking For Pleasure
There are around 350 meters of footpath and other areas for you to have pleasure walking.
Organic Farm, Passion Fruit & Other Fruit Trees
You may visit and see the vegetation on the organic farm and the property, through the footpath, and within the boundary for the experience. *But you shall not disturb or spoil the vegetation, or plants, and also not pluck, take, or consume, the fruits from the fruit trees of the property.
Swimming In The Lake
Swimming in the Lake Access to the lake for swimming is contingent upon obtaining explicit permission and guidance from the Property Consultant. It is imperative to acknowledge that engaging in swimming activities is undertaken at one’s own risk. Prior to entering the water, it is mandatory to utilize a life jacket or life belt, while strictly adhering to entry through the designated Bathing Ghats. Swimming is restricted to the hours between 9 am and 4 pm. It is prohibited to swim or access the lake from the months of May to November, as well as during inclement weather conditions characterized by rough waters, strong winds, storms, rain, thunder, and lightning.
Extending The Stay
If a guest wishes to extend their stay, they are required to visit the office to settle any outstanding dues and make an advance payment for the additional confirmed days of their stay. They are also requested to complete a new Guest Registration Card (GRC) indicating the revised check-out date and time. In the event that a guest intends to stay for an indefinite period, a minimum 7-day advance tariff is to be paid as a deposit at any given point, and the settlement of the tariff and food bills is expected on a daily basis.
Save Power & Water
Please ensure to switch off the power when it is not in use or when vacating the room. Additionally, it is imperative to be mindful of water conservation and avoid unnecessary wastage.
Unauthorized Use of Electrical Equipment
We don’t allow anybody to connect any electrical equipment to our power supply line, without the permission of our Consultant.
Maintenance Charges
Extra Cleaning, Clearing, Losses, Damages & Maintenance Charge: If your activities have caused us to have extra cleaning & clearing to maintain our property as it was before, or any losses or damages, then you will have to pay for the same.
Take Back Personal Leftovers, Or pay Rs 100 each per room, If the Guest brings food, bottled drinks, and other consumables from outside, then you should take back the waste and your leftovers such as plastic containers, bottles, food waste, etc. from our property.
Cancellation, No Show, Late Check-In, or Early Checkout
We understand that plans can change, and we want to be as flexible as possible. Once a booking is confirmed or guaranteed, it cannot be cancelled or transferred, and the room cannot be allotted to others. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider requests for a refund of the tariff or part of the tariff under any circumstances, as the booking is non-refundable. However, we are happy to help you modify your stay dates to an earlier or later time, up to eleven months from the date of the booking, based on availability and our policy. To do so, please send us an email or a WhatsApp message at least 72 hours before the check-in date. We will review your request and, if genuine, we may allow you to modify your stay dates. Please note that we are unable to modify stay dates if we receive a cancellation or modification request within 72 hours of the check-in, even if the request is genuine.
Failures & Service Deficiencies
We understand that sometimes there may be issues with our services, such as power failures, Wi-Fi problems, or TV channel issues. If you experience any of these, please reach out to us through our WhatsApp Communication Group or directly inform us. We’ll do our best to resolve the issues. Please keep in mind that we may not be able to provide cash refunds for service failures that are beyond our control.
Force Majeure (Forced Circumstances)
Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds for any advance payments made in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as flood, fire, war, hartal, strike, disease, epidemic, accidents, or any other internal or external issues that would prevent us from providing accommodation and other amenities at ILLIKKALAM Lakeside Cottages. Similarly, if you find yourself unable to avail of the property’s facilities due to the aforementioned circumstances, or because of your personal issues, the advance payment or full payment cannot be refunded.
