Kerala Travel Mart Virtual 2021 inaugurated by Governor of Kerala Arif Mohammad Khan on 1st march 2021.
In the wake of the Kovid crisis, the Kerala Travel Mart Society has decided to hold KTM, the largest tourism fair in the country, virtually this year. The business meetings at KTM are held for five days from Monday March 1st to Friday.
The Governor said that domestic tourism has become of great importance in the post-Kovida era. Flights from foreign countries are not common. Atmanirbhar Bharat has a lot of potential in the tourism sector as well. The Governor also pointed out the need for cooperation between the tourism industry partners to facilitate inter-state travel. The Governor also lauded the Kerala Travel Mart for setting a shining example through public-private partnerships in overcoming the economic downturn caused by the Kovid crisis.
