Winning the Best Agri Tourism Village award is not just a recognition of Kumarakom’s efforts but also a boost to the local community. The award is expected to attract more tourists to the village, providing additional income opportunities for local residents and encouraging further investment in sustainable tourism practices.

Looking Ahead

The recognition from the Ministry of Tourism underscores the importance of preserving cultural and natural heritage while promoting economic development through tourism.
